| NetZero provides free Internet access via a local dial-up account and
an e-mail account for each individual user in a household, a business or at specific location, such as a school or public library.
In exchange for free Internet access the user completes a short profile application and agrees to allow monitoring of Internet usage. A small banner ad window is opened on the user's desktop during access. At CitiVU we think this offers an economical and acceptable means to access the Internet in a way similar to that which most of us have come to accept in broadcast television with commercials. CitiVU is not affiliated with NetZero and we do not offer tech support for their service. Due the nature of FREE service and the rapid demand driven expansion that it entails be prepared for occasional delays. We understand that NetZero already has more than 4,000,000 subscribers; not bad for having started in October, 1998. If you think this is for you click on the button below to learn more and download (about 3 MB) the software. NetZero only works with Windows 95/98 and NT at this time. If you would prefer receiving the software on a CD that is also available for a small handling charge.
